EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS
 
If you're kicking off a business of your own, time becomes one of your biggest concerns and toughest obstacles. There just doesn't seem to be enough of it! For nearly everyone, probably the safest and most realistic way to start a full-time business is part-time. Yep, evenings and weekends. That's hard to do, no doubt about it. You've worked all day, gone to the kid's soccer game, wolfed down some dinner, caught up on your mail… and NOW you're going to focus on your business? Well… yeah.

That's the price of success. I know it can be done, because I've talked to hundreds of business owners who started this way. And, speaking to Kerry Cox Chief Communications Officer Of SMC about his personal experience, I discovered that he ran a side business for 11 years relying on evenings and weekends as his primary ‘workdays’, saying
 " I'm no Superman; I just created a schedule and disciplined myself to follow it. I designated the hours from 8PM-10PM Monday-Thursday, and Sunday, to focus on my business”.
 
You may not require that much time, or you may need more--- it all depends on your goals, how you run your business, and the demands of your personal life. The point is, it can be done. The objection, "I don't have time," is usually handily overcome with a little planning and discipline.
My advice: try to set a schedule, and stick to it as much as is humanly possible. Once it becomes a routine, it won't seem so punishing, I promise. And then, you'll be able to see and enjoy the cause-and-effect relationship between dedicated time, and tangible
