Below you will read a good example of why it is so important to verify your customers addresses and phone numbers.

The simplest of mistakes can end up costing you loads!

If your customer is not careful they may input the wrong shipping information. One Number wrong in the Zip code and their order has just been delivered to the write address, but in a different zip code.

They have already paid for the item and you used some of that to purchase and ship that item to them, because one simple mistake was made YOU, the merchant, Is OUT twice what they have already paid you.

Because you now have to repurchase the items, pay again for shipping and then the time it takes for all this after you have

taken a day or two to verify that your customers package really did not recieve their order.

If you receive your payment through Pay Pal Always check and recheck to make sure that the address your customer has on file is the same one that was used to order the item.

Are you an eBay seller? Even more so important to check and double check that their shipping address is correct.

It is possible for an Auction customer to have one address listed with an Auction site and another with the payment company

(i.e.: Pay Pal, & e-gold, Bank Draft, etc.)

It is always safe to require your customer to verify their shipping address as soon as you have received their order.

This way there is little delay for timely arrival of the order.

Call them on the phone or E-Mail them or Both.

Just make sure that you verify the shipping address once more after you have it on the package, for good measure.
